In the first and second years, we focus on foundational German training, while in the third and fourth years, it shifts to advanced professional German and practical skills development.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Language<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The language courses emphasize the development and enhancement of listening, speaking, and reading abilities, which in turn cultivate writing and translation skills. This enables students to comprehensively utilize and master the German language through courses such as &#8220;Basic German grammar,&#8221; &#8220;Intermediate German,&#8221; &#8220;German Conversation&#8221; and Composition&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Humanities<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The humanities courses enrich students&#8217; knowledge of German-speaking countries, their cultures, and literatures, fostering a solid humanistic and cross-cultural literacy. The courses in this area include: &#8220;Perspectives on German-speaking Countries,&#8221; &#8220;Introduction to German Culture&#8221; and &#8220;German Literature and Film&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Interdisciplinary<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The interdisciplinary courses allow students to acquire additional and broaden knowledge from other fields, including courses such as &#8221; AI and Programming Language,&#8221; &#8220;English,&#8221; and &#8221; Ability of Expressing in Spoken and Written Chinese&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Practical Training<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The practical courses are employment-oriented, offering applied learning opportunities to equip students with professional skills for the job market. courses include: &#8220;Business German,&#8221; &#8220;Tourism in German,&#8221; &#8220;German for Teaching Chinese&#8221; and &#8220;Journalistic Reading in German&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000cd;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Rule for study in German Department:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 14.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">1. Duration of study: 4 years and 128 credits that is 78 credits for obligatory subjects and at least 20 credits for choice subjects of the German department. The others credits are set for subjects of Liberal of Arts and subjects from other field.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 14.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">2.
